Lecture Hours:
Saturdays - 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Sundays - 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Breakdown of Hours:
85 hours lecture
60 hours of self-practice
60 hours of observation
40 hours of student teaching
10 hours of assisted teaching
40 hours of private or group sessions
5 hours of apprentice teaching
Total = 300 hours

Embark on a transformative journey to become a certified Pilates Teacher through our Mat and Reformer Teacher Training program from our Miami-based Pilates Studio.
Our mission is to cultivate outstanding teachers who excel in their craft. We provide a robust educational foundation, diving into anatomy and the core principles of Pilates while fostering adaptability and creative teaching skills.
The Pilates Teacher Training Program is led by studio owner Dr. Julia Shmurak (DPT, NCPT), a certified Physical Therapist since 2010 and a Pilates Instructor for over 11 years. The program will also include assistant lead teachers Dr. Adrianna Ortega (DPT), Giglia Almeida (PTA), Heni Paz (NCPT), Alli Rae Williams, and Dr. Jaclyn Wohn (DPT, NCS, NCPT).
Upon completing our certification, we aim for you to possess the expertise to thrive as a highly proficient teacher in our studios or other avenues within the Pilates industry.
Pilates Teacher Training Program Details
Our training not only equips you with the necessary tools and experience for in-class instruction and private sessions but also provides a unique perspective on rehabilitation from a Physical Therapy background. This distinct approach, coupled with the encouragement to develop your teaching style, opens doors to numerous opportunities in the field.
Our comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training certification program covers Pilates Mat and Reformer training. This comprehensive approach ensures that you receive a well-rounded education in Pilates instruction.
You'll be free to schedule your self-practice, observation, and practice teaching hours at your convenience. While we encourage completing most hours at our studio locations, approved Pilates studios and home settings are also viable options.
